Cosaint Leanaí - Child Protection
Tá ár múinteoirí agus ár gceannairí ardoilte agus ardcháilithe, agus tá gach ball foirne ag obair ag na campaí curtha faoi réamhscrúdú an Gharda Síochána.
Beidh ar a laghad beirt dhuine fásta i gceannas ar gach seisiún.
Ní scaoilfear aon pháiste isteach sa seisiún ar-líne go dtí go bhfuil ar a laghad beirt dhuine fásta agus beirt dhuine óga sa ‘seomra feithimh’ don seisiún.
Our teachers and leaders are highly skilled and qualified, and all staff working at the camps are Garda vetted beforehand.
There will be at least two adults in charge of each session
No child will be allowed in to any online session until there are at least two adults and two young people in the ‘waiting room’ for the session.
Le bheith réidh agat - What to have prepared
Ba chóir do na daoine óga ag na Campaí Samhraidh Feachtas ar-líne a bheith gléasta i slí oiriúnach, agus chun aclaíocht/rince srl. a dhéanamh, agus sciath ghréine a bheith orthu sa chás go mbíonn na ceachtanna ar siúl taobh amuigh.
Ba chóir go mbeidh daoine óga ag na campaí a bheith in áit ‘oscailte’ sa teaghlach (ní i seomra leapa) inar féidir le tuismitheoirí a bheith in aice láimhe chun seiceáil isteach ar na campaí - ní cóir go dtógann tuismitheoirí páirt sna campaí nó a bheith ann don champa ar fad.
Seolfar aon ábhair a mbeidh ag teastáil le haghaidh ealaín & ceardaíocht, tionscnaimh áirithe srl. i bpacáiste campa speisialta tríd An Post roimh na campaí.
Bí cinnte go bhfuil nasc idirlín ag obair agat, agus go bhfuil tú féin agus do pháiste sásta go mbeidh do pháiste infheicthe agus inchloiste ar chruinniú ar-líne.
Uaireanta tógfar grianghraif den ghrúpa ar mhaithe le poiblíocht do Feachtas ar na meáin shóisialta agus ar shuíomh Feachtas - mar sin bí cinnte nach bhfuil ach céad ainm an duine óg le feiceáil ar an seisiún agus ná cur aon eolas eile maidir le seoladh baile srl.
Le do thoil féach ar rialacha agus éiteas na gcampaí sa bhróisiúr seo - beidh ort iad seo a léamh agus aontú leo roimh na campaí.
Young people attending the online Feachtas Summer Camp should be dressed appropriately, to participate in exercise/dancing etc., and should be wearing sunscreen in case some of the day’s activities are outside (in the garden/street next to the home).
Young people attending the camps should be in an ‘open’ area of the household (not the bedroom) where parents can be nearby and check in on the camps - parents should not take part in the camps or be present throughout the camps.
Any materials that are needed for arts & crafts, specific projects etc. will be sent in a special camp package via An Post prior to the camps.
Be sure to have a working internet connection, and that yourself and your child are alright with your child being visible and audible during an online meeting.
We will have an information session with parents 15 minutes before the camps on days 1 & 2, to give an opportunity to ask any questions about the camps, and us an opportunity to answer them.
Sometimes we will take a photo of the group for the purpose of publicity on our social media channels and the Feachtas website (photos will not be made available to any 3rd party entities) - so please be sure that only the first name of the young person is on display during the online session, and don’t display any extra information regarding address etc.
