Coláiste Mhuire, Cabhrach, Winners of 2021
The students from Choláiste Mhuire, Cabhrach won the Craobhchomórtas Náisiúnta Tráth na gCeist Feachtas Óg-Ghluaiseacht Gaeilge.
In a new situation for everyone, ther was great competition between the 13 schools who took part in our online final.
The lads from Ardscoil Uí Urmoltaigh, Droichead na Banda came in second place.
The girls from Choláiste Oiriall, Muineacháin placed third.
21 teams from 13 schools took part in our final round which took place online today. There were 84 young people in total competing against one another.
A prize total of €1,240 was awarded for the competition: €600 for the winning team, Coláiste Mhuire, Cabhrach: Hollie Ní Chionnaith, Kayleigh Cúipéir, Cáit Ní Mhaoilmhiaigh, and Tomás Ó Conaill.
€400 was awarded to Ardscoil Uí Urmoltaigh, Droichead na Banda: Seán Hilliard, Darragh Mac Cárthaigh, Séamus O'Halloran, and Conor Ó Súilleabháin
€240 went to Choláiste Oiriall, Muineachán: Derbhla Ní Ghallchóir, Emma Nic Giolla Easpaigh, Niamh De Paor, and Ellen Nig Fhlionn.
