Final Competition of the Tráth na gCeist Feachtas, Tuesday, 21 March 2023, Ashling Hotel, Dublin

 Winners of  2023

The students from Coláiste Oiriall, Muineacháin won the National Final of Tráth na gCeist Feachtas Óg-Ghluaiseacht Gaeilge, this year.

28 Irish secondary schools competed with one another this year, and it was a close competition in Hotel Ashling, Dublin on Tuesday, 21 March 2023.

The lads from Coláiste Eoin, Stigh Lorcáin came in second place.

 

Two schools took third place: Gaelcholáiste Phort Láirge; agus Coláiste an Eachréidh, Contae na Gaillimhe.

29 schools took part in the final round of our competition in Ashling Hotel, Dublin today. Nearly 116 teenagers participated in today's Tráth na gCeist.

150 secondary schools took part in the competition, with 800 young people participating. 

 

A prize total of €1,480 was awarded for the competition: €600 for the winning team Colaiste Oiriall, Muineacháin:Saorlaith Ní Chionna, Alannah Nic Giolla Bhéiní, Alan Mac Garfadh Mac Seoin, and Aoibhinn Nic Cormaic.

 

€400 was awarded to Choláiste Eoin, Stigh Lorcáin: Macdara Ó Raghallaigh, Eoghan Ó hAnluain-Fay, Conall Mac Aonghusa, and Traolach ó Súilleabháin.

€240 was awarded to Ghaelcholáiste Phort Láirge: Ruán Ó Céilleachair, Micheál Ó Cuidithe, Maitiú Mac Roibeaird, and Cameron Mac Giolla Chirce; as well as Coláiste an Eachréidh, Contae na Gaillimhe: Brian Mac Thomáis, Conor Ó Loinsigh, Grace de Búrca, and Semyon Ó Sionnaigh.
